Linda Witsell

Linda Witsell is putting the myth of F. Scott Fitzgerald's remark that there are no second acts in American lives to rest.

A former corporate recruiter, Linda began her career as a jazz flutist in 2000 when she met vocalist and visual artist Laurence Walden from Chicago, Illinois. She began performing with him and his band at the LaVilla Grill in Jacksonville, FL.

Her association with Walden exposed her to various forms of jazz and she traveled with his band performing in Chicago, New Orleans, Miami and Atlanta.

Walden, a playwright also, invited Linda to play the role of Narrator in his play, “Me and Mr. B”, a tribute to the famed jazz balladeer, Billy Eckstein. Source: Brian Ross
