Lorenzo Paesani studied improvisational music all over Europe and the U.S. with John Taylor, Fabrizio Puglisi, Franco D'Andrea, Ralph Alessi, Tim Berne, Marc Ducret, among others. As of 2014 his latest performances include Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival, Kuala Lumpur Jazz Festival, Nisville Jazz Festival, Saulkrasti Jazz, Bologna Jazz Festival, Novara Jazz Festival and many other events. The latest recordings are with different ensembles but all projects have a particular blend of jazz, original compositions and open improvisation, spanning from modern jazz to contemporary music, such as: “Imbiss” (ABeat Records), “Dagli Appendini Alle Ante” (Orange Home Records), “L’arsenale Delle Apparizioni” (Slam Records), “It Came To Broadcast The Yucatan” (AUAND). He also works as a composer for “Kairostudio”, a cultural association which produces documentaries and movies about the safeguard of the environment.
