guitarAlbum Description
It was Rick Toone's idea to create a gathering of his extraordinary players to channel our enthusiasm for the craft...the results of which you hear on this recording. The music was captured live in an open-door barn, essentially first takes with minimal rehearsal and no overdubs*. This is the sound of discovery and mutual respect and appreciation for what each of us contributed. It was an honor to be among these dedicated and beautiful guitarists...I am blown away by their invention and love for the art of discovery. Special thanks to Steve Sjuggerud for graciously hosting us, and to our dedicated rhythm section of Ken Kinter & Dan Ostrowski who fueled our gymnastics with flair and drive. Hearty cheers to Rick Toone for his vision and friendship. This album is dedicated to SB.
