Margaret Sanzo Sneddon

Margaret Sanzo Sneddon began playing the harp at the age of eight when her mother, also a harpist, began teaching her. She later studied for many years with Ruth Negri Armato of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.

In addition to a busy schedule of weddings, special events, teaching and concerts, she has played in the orchestra for productions of The Fantastics, Carrousel, My Fair Lady, Once Upon a Mattress, and, A Grand Night for Singing.

She also played for President Clinton at National Hall in Connecticut.

Margaret was founder and director of The Hudson Harp Consort, an ensemble of harps and chapter of the International Society of Folk Harpists and Craftsmen. She is also a certified therapeutic music practitioner on celtic harp.

Most recently, Margaret has traveled the world as the on-board harpist for Radisson Seven Seas Cruise Lines and as a guest artist on Delta Queen Riverboats.

Margaret has an extensive repertoire of music of every description from Classical, Celtic, and Church music to Pop Standards and Show tunes.

With her wealth of experience and personal touch, she can help you select the perfect music for your wedding ceremony, cocktail party, or any special occasion.

For that "touch of elegance", she is currently available to supply beautiful harp music for your own special event.
