Moonglow Review
CD Review by George W. Harris, of Jazz Weekly, May 12, 2016
Maria Damore has a clear and polished Broadway sound to her delivery. Even better, her range is effortless as she
swings and coos with Andy Roberts/key, Steve Meashey/b, Leon Jordan/dr, David Cullen/g and Tom Strohman/reeds on a
collection of standards. She shows some moxie with a clever read of the 70s hit “Vincent” and makes it work well. Her
intro to “Stardust” glows like a clear night, and she knows how to sizzle during “What A Little Moonlight Can Do” with
Strohman’s sax cantering along. Lots to like here!

Welcome to the Maria Damore Voice Studio, located in Exeter Township (Berks County), PA. I offer in-person and online
lessons with flexible scheduling, and look forward to providing you with a comfortable, positive environment
where you can learn and grow as an artist. I have been a professional singer/actor for 25+ years and am known for my
ability to sing in a variety of musical styles including musical theatre, pop, rock, jazz, classical, and Greek folk music. I
have performed in countless musical theatre/opera productions, sung as a soloist with orchestras, bands, and ensembles,
produced my own concerts/cabaret shows, and produced my own CD, Moonglow. As an active performer dealing with
the myriad of variables and situations that can affect singing and performance, I feel well-qualified to teach, guide, and
problem solve with singers in the various situations they may encounter while performing. Visit my website for more
