Mark Pettey has performed on stages around the world for over 40 years. Originally trained in classical trumpet, he's been a member of several symphony orchestras, played on TV specials for Ringling Brothers Circus, toured as keyboardist for the Marshall Tucker Band (appearing in several of their music videos on CMT), performed on recordings for smooth jazz artists, appeared in concert with Frank Sinatra,Jr., Doc Severinsen, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Jody Watley, Peabo Bryson, Johnny Mathis, Barry Manilow, and many others of note. Pettey was Asstistant Conductor of the Naples (FL) Jazz Orchestra for ten years, and with them recorded a CD that also featured the late jazz piano legend Kenny Drew, Jr.

When not performing, Mark enjoys teaching the next generation of trumpeters and "young lions" the art of jazz improvisation.
