Masumi Yamamoto is a Jazz pianist . . . Composer, Arranger and Singer/Songwriter. Official Endorsed Artist of Dexibell Pianos NA. ​ Masumi Yamamoto (A/K/A Pop Star Masumi) has been playing Piano in the Group TLQ+ since 2015, and has played in groups led by Saxophonist Azar Lawrence, Drummer Roy McCurdy, Bassist Henry Franklin, to name a few. ​ Masumi Yamamoto has Composed and Programmed music for some of TV’s Most Followed Shows, America’s Got Talent, The Little Big Shot. ​ A Collection of ten original, film score like, music cues composed by Masumi Yamamoto, titled ”Music To Score By”, is being considered for development as a coming of age story performed by Orchestra and Dance Troupe. ​ Masumi Yamamoto was born in Niigata, Japan. Because she so loved playing with the toy piano, given to her as a gift, her parents decided she should have Piano lessons. Masumi Yamamoto attended The YAMAHA Music School starting at age 4. Gave Classical performances at age 6. Masumi, participated in and, came out on top at many piano competitions. Masumi Yamamoto, when chided by her instructor for changing the written music, responded with “I like this better”. Eventually Masumi discovered Music Composition at The YAMAHA Music School and her first piano composition was at about age 6.
