Matt Ingeneri

Matt Ingeneri is a Jazz guitarist based in Washington, DC who has also performed in New York, Boston, China, India, Southeast Asia, and Africa. He has appeared at the DC Jazz Festival, Boston Arts Festival, China's West Meets East Festival, and the JazzKif, Ca Swing a Kin, and Concerts in the Park festivals in Africa. A product of Washington DC's vibrant Jazz scene, Matt performed regularly for over a year with legendary Blue Note house bassist Butch Warren. Matt has also worked with other luminaries of the DC scene, including Lawrence Wheatley, Ted Efantis, Billy Smith, and former Chess Records session musician Jimmy Burrell. Matt's trio was featured weekly at the famed Bohemian Caverns Club between 2001-2002. Other venues he's performed at include Columbia Station and Twins Jazz in DC, No Black Tie and Alexis Bistro in Kuala Lumpur, Jazz@Southbridge in Singapore, and the Blue Note bar in Guangzhou China.
