Michael Dusk

Michael grew up in Central New York (Elmira) and started drum lessons at age 8yrs old and eventually attending the Tony Monforte School of Modern Drumming in Binghamton, NY. For six years, under Mr. Monforte's guidance learned theory, Pop, Rock, and Jazz popular Radio hits, yet always had a love for singing and writing his own lyrics. "I do things the old fashion way with pen and notebook, haha also hate computers!" I don't even carry a cell phone around. I believe that if people and especially teens stopped staring down at their cell phones and tablets most of the day, they could look up to the sky and see how beatiful the World really is. (enough Bitchin) I have a tenor vocal range and have approx 135 original songs that I have written and that number is always changing. I also love to stand up and play my (prohibition era) "Cocktail kit" and simultaneously sing lead voice. Studied acting at Susan Battson School NYC, and studied under (voice coach) Jennifer Hamaday NYC. I have just recently moved to the city with my wife Alexis and dog Jake.

Influences: Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Sinatra, Bennett, Elvis Presley, Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer.
