Mike Foenander

Mike Foenander, a Musician who loves Music from Mozart to Miles and everything in between.

Born in London, UK, Mike moved to Australia with his family as a 14 year old.

His first Musicial Memories are of his mum’s collection of Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Big Band Albums and a touch of Soul, he still has the records to this day.

His first Australian High school Para Vista had a very progressive Music and Drama curriculum which he thrived in. He picked up the Trumpet and was hooked, with encouragement from his Teachers Mike began to sing and hasn’t stopped since.

Mike has been involved in Musical Theatre and has been the Lead character in numerous Musicals productions.

His first love has always been the great Jazz Vocalists and this is the style he has chosen to pursue.

As a purist Mike has always preferred to live perform, teaming up with His brother Steve the two work individually and together on Live Music projects.

A vocalist with that special quality that is hard to find in today’s pop culture, Mike sings with heart and he wears it on his sleeve.

A Master of the lyric, a musician who loves the classic sounds of standards. Mike has been Lucky with his Band to travel the World.

He has sung with many Famous Australian Musicians and overseas Artists.

Mike and Brother Steve have just released their first Album with encouragement from The Voice Anita Wardell there close friend and The Legendary Mark Murphy they hope that people like it.

Brother Steve and Mike have just come back from touring Korea, London and New York and hope to return in 2009.
