Mikhal Caldwell

Detroit native Mikhal Caldwell, multi award winning musician/composer, has been an important figure in the wave of progressive music for over 20 years, and has been voted in the top 100 guitarists of the world multiple years in a row. Mikhal has recorded and/or performed with many notable local, national and international acts such as Greg Howe, Al DiMeloa, John McLaughlin, Scott Henderson, Cheikh Ndoye, Daiman Erskine, Larry Coryell, Rachel Z, Cindy Blackman, Jimmy Pitts, David Sancious, Jeff Berlin, Joe Denizon, Craig Tyner, Greg Tyler, Eddie Kohen, Steve Vai, Tony Mac Alpine, Henry Gibson, Andy West, T Lavitz, Paul Gilbert, Ken Tyler,Michael, Carey, Faruq Z Bey, Skeeter Shelton,Kary Lacy, Chick Corea, Rick James, Vinnie Moore, Carolyn Striho, Julian Coryell, Steve Graves, Gary Willis, Sananda Kashire, Billy Cobham, David Harbor, and Frank Gambale.

Currently Mikhal is working toward the completion of his second solo CD titled “Ethic's vs Logic” set for an early March 08 release , as a follow up to the Nov. 2006 release of his “Para Vision” CD. Para Vision started the international interest in Mikhal's music and set the stage for the incredible line up of musicians and material for Ethic's. Mikhal is also involved in several live projects such as Reality Check, Mikhal Caldwell Project, and Surplus.
