Ronald Porcelli

Ron was born in Long Island and has been playing electric bass since 1980, appearing throughout the years with a host of original and cover bands, most noteably heavy metal artists Lazarus in the late 80's . In the early days he would be influenced by English Punk, Metal, Progressive and New Wave of the late 70s and early 80s. Since then his tastes have changed and he worked at joining the ranks of other great bassists like Kim Stone (The Rippintons), Marcus Miller, and John Patitucci. He plays 4, 5 and 6 string bass depending on the application. With an ear for recording, Ron went on to produce other artists and created "Studio On a Strap". He is a big fan of celtic and medieval music, thus his love of the Tin Whistle featured on August Night, Autumn Sky.
