Jeff Gibble

Jeff Gibble (guitarist/composer) has toured numerous nightclubs and taverns on the east coast with the rock band Alaska, jazz-fusioneers The Edgar Myers Trio, his own band The Jeff Gibble Group, and most recently, with the progressive rock band AudioJoe. (He first wrote tunes in 4/4, and then composed in more complex times like 5/8, 7/8 and 9/8. Is this what they mean by 'progressive'?) Most of these venues could be classified as 'dives' and don't pay so well, so in his spare time Jeff has had to resort to composing tortuous suites for his trumpet playing comrades, represented on Trumpets Alone by Amusement, Annoyance and Agitation for Trumpet Ensemble. He also co-wrote Mystery with Mic Smith, and his guitar playing amazingly appears to be gracefully hidden.
