Charlotte Glasson

Charlotte Glasson is a multi instrumentalist, playing in a wide variety of music and theatre. She plays all the saxophones, flute and alto flute, bit of clarinet, violin and viola, penny whistle, melodica, percussion, and even the saw and junk wood marimba’s in the new show by the creators of Stomp, called ‘ The Lost and Found Orchestra.’ She's played with Lea DeLaria,Claire Martin, Lianne Carroll, Oasis, Julian Lloyd Webber, Antonio Forcionne, Ladyhawke

This exceptional album succeeds on several levels. First there's Glasson herself, an undeniably, prodigiously talented multi- instrumentalist whose diverse armamentarium would successfully rival that of Rahsaan Roland Kirk's, maybe substituting his stritch for her saw. Musician Charlotte Glasson named her cat after Bernard Herrmann, the Oscar-winning composer of Alfred Hitchcock's films including the famous Psycho shower scene.
