This exceptional album succeeds on several levels. Musician Charlotte Glasson named her cat after Bernard Herrmann, the Oscar-winning composer of Alfred Hitchcock's films including the famous Psycho shower scene. Now Herrmann's widow, Norma Dice, who says her husband would have been more moved by this personal tribute than by all the film honours bestowed upon him, has given Charlotte one of his three surviving awards Herrmann's Grammy Award nomination for the 1977 film Taxi Driver.
