Since its founding nearly ten years ago by drummer Dave Watts, The Motet has produced almost as many albums, mixing a mosaic of influences from African to Latin, and from western pop to dance club chic. Layers of sound both acoustic and electronic characterize the music, and myriad rhythms generate toe-tapping, booty-shaking and big-time chilling.
