David Lataillade

David studied guitar, harmony and composition at the conservatory, alongside he discovered Hendrix, Frith, Mingus and Coltrane ... and traditional music and improvisation; playing the electric bass in rock and hardcore bands then electric guitar, tape recorder and analog synthesizers within the "polytropes" collective. In 1999 he traveled to Japan for a series of concerts and meetings with traditional musicians and improvisers. In 2000 and 2001 he was invited to residencies and concerts around the sound poetry, performance and electronic and improvised music at the intercultural festival in Mostar in Bosnia. From 2000 to 2006 worked at GMEA (national center for musical creation) as a studio assistant. Compose music for "Company X" (contemporary dance and video) for creations in France and Mexico. In 2007 obtained a state order from GMEA: "metamorphosis" for 8 guitars and electro acoustic. Currently works for the theater company "La Clique" as guitarist and composer experimenting with many meetings and sound universe both acoustic and electric.
