Eric Haltmeier

Eric Haltmeier is an active performer on woodwinds, keyboards, and electronics. He has recorded and performed with 'Space Genetics' with Paul Scea, the 'Car Music Project' (an ensemble of instruments made from car parts), 'Stop Correcting Me' with multi-instrumentalist Wilbo Wright, and with Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Matt Cranstoun. Haltmeier is the Director of Music at the Pingree School in South Hamilton, MA. He taught in the NJ public schools for 15 years and served on the music education faculty of Westminster Choir College of Rider University.

With the release of Volume 3, SPACE GENETICS—the avant-jazz duo of Paul Scea and Eric Haltmeier—continue their exploration of the hybridization of improvisation, electronic music, jazz, and controllerism.
