Trifon Dimitrov

Trifon Dimitrov was born in Pleven, Bulgaria. He graduated from the National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2002. As a student he performed for local and international jazz festivals, jazz clubs, recorded for the Bulgarian National Radio and Television. While studying in Frankfurt, Germany between 2002 and 2004, he was a member of a trio opening jam sessions every Wednesday in the world famous Jazz Keller. Trifon moved to New York in 2004 and graduated from the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music. Currently living in NY and performing throughout USA and Europe. Trifon has performed at numerous Jazz Festivals, clubs, TV and Radio shows true out the world as well as Broadway shows in NYC. He has also performed with world-renowned musicians such as Randy Brecker, Earl McIntyre, Renee Manning, Nat Adderley Jr, Tony Lacatosh, Duane Eubanks, David Amram, Dion Parson, Theodosy Spasov, Zoran Madjirov, Antony Donchev etc.
