Pianist, organist, composer and arranger Art Bailey has been active on the NYC music scene since 2002. Since Art’s arrival in NYC, some of the many fine and stellar musicians he has had the pleasure to record or perform with include Adam Nussbaum, Tyshawn Sorey, Ratzo Harris, Bill Goodwin, Matt Wilson, Rez Abbasi, Winard Harper, Steve Turre, Cameron Brown, Steven Bernstein, Kirk Knuffke, Jon Irabagon, Herb Robertson, Marty Ehrlich, Guy Klusevcek, James Zollar, Karl Berger, Alfredo (Chocolate) Armenteros, and Andy Gonzales.

In a classic Monty Python comedy sketch, John Cleese, a self-defense instructor, teaches various techniques to disarm an attacker who comes at his victims armed with a piece of fruit.
