Bastien Brison

Born in Roanne in 1991, he began his studies at the Chalon-sur-Saône conservatory in 2006. Alongside the Michel Martin-Charrière and Elie Martin-Charrière father/son duo, he soon discovered the joy of trio playing. His playing bears the influence of Ahmad Jamal, Red Garland, Hank Jones, Bill Charlap, Kenny Barron, Mulgrew Miller, Eric Reed, Gerald Clayton and Aaron Goldberg among others. He has also played with many renowned musicians such as Patrick Maradan, Paco Sery, Eric Prost, Romain Cuoq, Christophe Lincontang and Guillaume Lespinasse. He has been playing with his trio on several jazz festivals (Fort en Jazz, Grenoble Jazz Festival, Péristyle de l'Opéra de Lyon) and tries to perform regularly on the Lyon's jazz stage (La Clé de Voute, Les 101 Marches, Le Périscope, Le Backstage) He worked with great musicians like Johnny O'Neal, Aaron Goldberg, Gerald Clayton, Eric Reed, Sacha Perry
