Mateusz Chorazewicz
Mateusz Chorazewicz is Polish jazz saxophonist of the young generation. He graduated from the Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk. He was developing his musical skills under the guidance of the most distinguished Polish jazzmen – Maciej Sikala, Adam Wendt, Maciej Obara, Jerzy Malek and many others. He also participated in numerous workshops led by such personalities of jazz as Ed Partyka, Piotr Wojtasik, Jim Black, Ole Morten Vaagan, Jon Falt, Tom Arthurs, Dominik Wania, Zohar Fresco, Peter Hertmans, Andy Middleton and Wayne Horvitz.
He is passionate about juicy, hardbop sound of Benny Golson's saxophone, but also does not avoid experimental sounds of Yusef Lateef, Dewey Redman and Pharoah Sanders. Besides musical activities, he shares his passion on the blog, publishing articles on the subject of jazz.
