Ryan Carraher

Ryan Carraher is a guitarist, composer and educator with a unique improvisational and compositional approach. He has a degree in guitar performance from the esteemed Berklee College of Music in Boston. Ryan started his musical journey at the age of eleven, and two years later began playing live. He has played with many notable artists including: Allan Holdsworth, Jimmy Heath, Leslie West, Grand Funk Railroad, Pete Best, Joe Lynn Turner, Adrian Belew, Sly and the Family Stone, Ours, George Thorogood, Paul Rodgers, The Fab Faux, John Wetton, and Napoleon Murphy Brock. He has been a featured soloist in many renowned venues such as: B.B Kings Blues Club (NYC), The Morristown Community Theater (to a sold out crowd of 1,200 people), the Highline Ballroom and the Bergen PAC. In his spare time, Ryan creates experimental electronic music under the name "Flutes in a Vaccum". He released his debut jazz/fusion record "Vocturnal" in March of 2016.
