Giacomo Riggi Mazzone
Giacomo Riggi Mazzone born in Barga (Lu) in 1983. Drummer, percussionist, vibraphonist, pianist, singer, director of vocal groups, author of symphonic works and chamber music. He got the highest score and a special mention diploma in percussion instruments at the Institute of Musical Studies "P. Mascagni "of Livorno. He won a scholarship in 1999, in 2000 he won first prize as a soloist in 2002 (City of Fusignano) and the prize award "Waltex jazz competition" in 2010 with his project "Isevarm". He played with the great names in jazz, such as Paul McCandless, Luciano Biondini, Danilo Rea, Tony Scott, Tino Tracanna, Stefano "coconut" Cantini, Cristina Zavalloni and many others. Has made tour in Italy, Japan, China, India, Russia, Spain, Germany and Colombia. He has 15 discs and written and produced dozens of musical works.
