Natalie Jacob

Natalie Jacob is a native Angelino who has been singing since the age of three. She launched her solo career with guitarist, Larry Feldman, in 2011, and together they perform their unique blend of jazz standards, bossa nova and popular music throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Having developed a passion for Brazilian music in her youth, Natalie seized the opportunity to join the Long Beach-based Latin jazz band, Along for the Ride, with whom she recorded Jobim and Vinicius Across Languages in 2015. Her unmistakable sultry sound on this album is complemented by world renown musicians, Abraham Laboriel and Justo Almario. From 2007 to 2010, she was the lead singer with Bluenova, a jazz quintet playing bossa nova, Latin jazz, blues and a splash of world music. Venues where she has performed include Genghis Cohen and Room 5 in Hollywood, The Sky Room in Long Beach, Alva's Showroom in San Pedro, The Charleston in Santa Monica, and The Culver Hotel in Culver City. Natalie has studied with Tamir Hendleman and Cathy Segal Garcia. She has also sings sacred music and has her certification from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles as a cantor for Catholic liturgies. She regularly sings at Sunday liturgies, weddings, funerals, and other services at several Catholic churches throughout Los Angeles. Natalie's warm and inviting vocals have been influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Sara Gazarek, Diana Krall, Jane Monheit, Linda Ronstadt, Téka, Eliane Elias, and Bebel Gilberto.
