”Gang and Mayland demonstrated a closely knit musical intimacy reminiscent of other great voice and horn teams whose chemistry was palpable. Mayland took an impressive solo on “Please Don’t Break My Heart,” an original soulful ballad, conveying the vulnerability of falling in love with his beautiful tone and masterful articulation.” - Nora McCarthy, Jazz Inside
