Nic Cacioppo

New York City based drummer and composer Nic Cacioppo has been described by Downbeat Magazine as “a fascinating drummer” who “goes hard”. Originally from the greater Philadelphia area, and the son of two Classical musicians, Nic started playing drums professionally as a teenager in Philly and South Jersey. Cacioppo has recorded as a sideman on record labels including HighNote-Savant Records and PM Records and has performed at venues including Blue Note (NYC), North Sea Jazz Festival (Rotterdam, Netherlands), Duc Des Lombards (Paris, France), Smoke Jazz Club (NYC), Ravinia Festival (Illinois), Birdland (NYC), Jazz Standard (NYC), Chicago Jazz Festival, Smalls Jazz Club (NYC). Cacioppo has also appeared in magazines including New York Times, The Times, Downbeat Magazine.
