Album Description

The album is released in a black box accompanied by 10 paintings, quite a few words and 10 compositions. Each piece refers to a movie. Movies by auteurs such as David Lynch, Paul Thomas Anderson and Sergio Leone, amongst others. It is dark, warm, intense music, played by six musicians on a plethora of instruments: deep twangy guitars, down tuned double bass, musical saw, sombre bass clarinets, jaw harp, soulful saxophones, kalimba, edgy synths as well as an instrument I invented for the occasion: The Hydrofonium.
