Nonviolenze - multitalented singer, songwriter, musician, and painter whose musical repertoire includes rock, progressive rock, jazz-fusion and jazz, began writing poetry and composing music in his youth. He hails from the east where he nurtured and explored multiple dimensions of the creative force emanating from him in the realm of song writing, music compositions and paintings. His early performances as lead vocalist with the popular band “Down Sterling” won him substantial loyalty from his audience. From here he expanded his musical horizons to take on the rock opera stage with the original musical super hit “Time is Yours”. His musical journey continued with promoting of nonviolence and world peace and creating drug awareness with the live concerts “A Musical Rally for Peace in Space”, “Summit Agenda”, and “No Sugar Tonight”. Nonviolenze's extraordinary three octave vocal range and his innate ability to meld rock, jazz, and fusion is his trademark that renders him as a unique musician and vocalist. His lyrics express a deep poetical philosophy of the world and of his own life experiences. He is well know for his complex chord structures on the guitar that is singular to his style of playing. Legendary artists such as Joni Mitchell, John McLaughlin, and Al Jarreau, and the enduring music of Pink Floyd along with the exposure to eastern classical music have been his inspiring influences

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
