Pat Crumly

I was born in Oxford, UK where I got my first music tuition (clarinet) and experience playing with top UK musicians at the University Jazz Club. I went on to join the John Dankworth Orchestra and then to work in various fields with such as Jack Jones, Jimmy Witherspoon, Ronnie Scott, Eric Burdon, Salena Jones, etc. For the last few years I have led my own bands and currently have a Quartet with Nick Weldon, piano, Tim Wells, bass and Mark Fletcher, drums. 2003 we did a 25 date UK tour and two weeks at Ronnie Scott's Club and recorded our debut CD, 'Weaver of Dreams'. We are due to play another UK tour this year and have been invited to New Zealand next year for a series of concerts. The Quartet recently (Oct 2006) played a succesful engagement in Athens, Greece, is playing another UK tour in 2007 and is about to record a second album.
