Album Description

Paul Zaborac Quartet: Live captures selections from a performance at the Noce jazz club in Des Moines, Iowa. The compositions on the album are inspired by post-bop/modal jazz and feature ample space for improvisers to stretch out, explore, and interact. “Steps,” “Drum Solo,” and “Transient” are performed continuously, transitioning into one another. A peaceful ballad closes the album as the final track. Each member of the quartet brings their unique voices to the tunes, creating a distinctive group sound and character that is showcased on the recording.
