I was born on 10th of June, 1983 in Gostynin (Poland). I'm a teacher in Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. I received a Master's Degree in the above mentioned academy in two faculties: piano performance and composition and arrangement.

Fronting my own band Tomaszewski Trio I'm a winner of all most important jazz competitions in Poland.

During my career I performed and worked with top international and Polish artists such as: Maria Schneider, Nigel Kennedy, Eric Marienthal, Dean Brown, Rick Margitza, Larry Coryell, Xantone Blacq, Z-Star, Judy Bady, Jarosław Smietana, Piotr Wojtasik, Grzegorz Nagórski, Anna Serafinska, Halina Młynkowa, Mieczysław Szczesniak, Maciej Miecznikowski and many others.

My recording with Grzegorz Nagórski Quartet “Dedication” received a prestigious Fryderyk prize for Jazz Debut Recording of the Year in 2009.

I serve as a teacher in several international summer music workshops across the country.

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
