Pedro Bromfman

Born in Rio de Janeiro and currently residing in Los Angeles, guitarist/composer Pedro Bromfman has been writing, playing and producing music professionally for over a decade. He graduated Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music, majoring in performance and composition, and went on to study film scoring at UCLA. A multi-faceted musician, Pedro has worked as a session musician, a producer and an arranger, before moving to Los Angeles.

He started his professional career as a Jazz guitarist in Rio de Janeiro, playing and recording with some of the best musicians in Brazil. His desire to primarily perform his compositions and arrangements led him to create his own instrumental group. They went on to record Pedro’s debut album, the critically acclaimed and award winning Pe-de-Moleque. Pedro gained much recognition as the producer and musical director for Pe-de-Moleque and was hired as a music producer for Unlimited Records, label distributed by Sony Music Brazil.

Since moving to Los Angeles Pedro has worked extensively writing and orchestrating music for Films, Documentaries, TV Shows, Trailers and Commercials. He has accompanied American Idol's Ryan Starr on guitars and established himself as a session musician, recording several film scores and commercials. He continues to tour performing with several Jazz groups as well as his own band.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
