PreDestined

”Christian Scott meets Chick Corea, mixed with a bit of metal” is how one sound engineer described PreDestined.

Drawing influence from music across the spectrum, PreDestined blends it all into a powerful, modern, and progressive sound. From lulling tracks such as Lust, to hard-hitting and fast-paced tunes such as Chronicle and Rising, PreDestined is on the forefront, pushing the envelope of jazz in the modern age. They deliver intense shows, memorable songs, and an experience that will not disappoint.

Fresh off the release of their debut album “Rising”, PreDestined is currently booking and performing in Ottawa and beyond. This band always has something up their sleeve, so stay tuned for exciting news in the future.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
