Lekverk seems to contantly surprise their audience. They’ve managed to produce an album that is as witty, clever and different, as it is straightforward and comprehensible, all of this within the context of everyday music. Few other jazz groups combines instruments such as harmonium and 80’s Korg synthesizers with a sofa and a citchen sink. The result is a perfectly sincere music, displaying a great, unusual imagination with a touch of humour. Since the release of their much critically acclaimed debut album “21st Century Jump” from 2008 Lekverk have played spectacular concerts all over Scandinavia winning the liking of both audience and media.
