Rasmus Henriksen

Rasmus Henriksen is an award winning composer, arranger, trombone player and band leader living in Odense, Denmark. Graduated from the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music in 2009 with trombone as his main instrument. He has released two albums as a leader: “Rasmus Henriksen Oktet fortolker Herman Bang” in 2018 with text by the Danish author Herman Bang (1875-1912) and “Out of the Shadows” in 2016 with his own big band. Both albums contains original compositions and arrangements by it's leader. He has been increasingly used as arranger by several orchestras such as the Danish Chamber Orchestra, Roger Berg Big Band, The Tivoli Big Band, Odense Symphony Orchestra, Göteborg Wind Orchestra and The Danish Radio Big Band.
