Album Description

The music in Renaissance reflects a New York contemporary jazz influence that Pepa has combined with stories of love, family, society and immigration to create a sincere and personal work. The album title, Renaissance, is connected to the tune under the same name that tells the story of a pregnant woman trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea on a small boat. This is a homage to life and the spiritual rebirth; a metaphor that Niebla has had in her mind throughout the production of her first original work. Singer and composer Pepa Niebla's debut album Renaissance will be released in Spring 2020. Recorded at Fernando Romero Studios, Granada (Spain), and Jet studios in Brussels on March and June 2019. Mixed and mastered by Dave Darlington. New York. Album design: Photography by Marina Tugas, Javier Callejas. Artwork and design by Isabel Cabello. All About Jazz needs your support

Donate
All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
