Born in Lisbon in 1974. Bass player and composer with collaborations in jazz, improvised music, theatre, dance and video. Develops his own projects, IntErLúNio (“L’Ennui Riot”, CD JACC Records, 2011), GRIP, and now GRIP 5. Participated in Wishful Thinking (“Wishful Thinking”, CD Clean Feed, 2007), 3-Bass-Hit and co-founded Pablibut Sone, selected project for the Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, Turin 1997. Has played with Alex Maguire, Alípio C Neto, Ben Stapp, Carlos Zíngaro, Eduardo Lála, Emídio Buchinho, Fausto Córneo, Francisco Andrade, Gonçalo Lopes, Gonçalo Prazeres, João Lencastre, João Martins, João P. Viegas, Johannes Krieger, José B. Parrinha, Luís Vicente, Miguel Cabral, Nuno Rebelo, Paulo Curado, Paulo Duarte, Ricardo Barriga, Rodrigo Amado, Ulrich Mitzlaff, among others. Since 1998 has composed and performed original music for theatre, dance, performance and video.
