Rick Eldridge

Rick Eldridge is a native of Richmond, Virginia where he began gigging professionally at 16. He played the piano for several bands. A versatile musician, Rick played several instruments. “I learned to play the instruments that I typically use so that I could arrange and voice them, myself.” Soon, he became a bandleader and eventually moved to Vriginia Beach.

In addition to gigging and working as a studio musician, Rick started a jazz record label company, Pentagram Records, and released his first solo piano CD, “Solo Flights.” It was recorded on a 7' Yamaha concert grand.

Now residing in the DC metro area, Rick was recently featured on yet another CD and released it on the Pentagram label. That CD, Come Fly With Me” will be released in June.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
