Rick Elmore

Started trombone at age ten. Family Immigrated from Cincinnati to Los Angeles 1965. To New Orleans played 36 hours a week on Bourbon Street 1974-1976. To San Francisco 1976-1982. Back to New Orleans 1982-1988. Sacramento 1988-1990. San Francisco Bay Area 1990 to present.. Also tuba, euphonium and percussion. Built Professor Gizmo one man band 1974. Joined and recorded with The Cheap Suit Serenaders and The Klezmorim 1977. Worked with Don Neely's Royal Society Orch., Banu Gibson, The Dukes of Dixieland, Choro Time, Craig Ventresco and Meredith Axelrod (ragtime and blues etc.) various latin, swing, big bands,etc.
