Robotnik
suggested music is the state of art of robotnik research of today. it is a critical reflection about the border line between composition and improvisation, which follows the line of '60 experimental composers such as John Cage and Earle Brown during the 1950's and 60's as well as the works of avant-garde composers such as Karlheinz Stockhausen and George Crumb. robotnik use an electronic device which allows musicians to improvise, still giving them a structure to deal and - sometimes - to struggle with. the result is an orchestra following a phantom director in which musicians preserve their own expressive independence. this way the importance of musicians and composers is always different. the robotnik are now exploring the possibilities of this method proposing their compositions to heterogenous musicians and bands.
