Rob Stringer started playing on the North West Jazz scene around 2004, after studying music at University in Liverpool. He took lessons with highly regarded UK jazz pianist Les Chisnall and also studied piano technique in New York with Eleanor Hancock of the Taubman Institute.
Rob currently tours extensively across Europe and North America, with ‘Brit Floyd’, a Pink Floyd stage production. He also has his own jazz group, the Bobby Swing Band, in which he sings and plays piano, and in which the other members of The Weave have performed.
