Rodrigo Nassif is one of the finest guitar players in Brazil. He was awarded the best instrumental performer Açorianos Prize in 2009, one of the most important prize in Brazil. Recently he was labelled by UOL música as “a national reference for Brazilian instrumental music”. He released three albums before forming his quartet, selling over five thousand copies. Rodrigo style has been classified as jazzmilonga, mixing-folk influenced by chamamé, tango-milonga with several other components of classical guitar. Rodrigo is used to play in the best stages of Brazil , such as Blue Note Club RJ , and Sesc Pompéia in São Paulo. We have this very fine video material , filmed live by the Sesc SP instituiton in São Paulo: and this is a documentary about the influence of literature in my way of composing He started to play guitar when he was nine years old, learning everything that he could from South Brazilian folk to world music. He also plays with musicians from different backgrounds during his time in music college. In 2006 he was granted a scholarship for a master degree in guitar performance in the well-known Conservatory Luís Gianneo in Buenos Aires – Argentina, tutored by the famous guitarist Eduardo Isaac. With the quartet he released their first album Todos os Dias Serão Outono in June 2015. It reached number 1 in the Brazilian iTunes chart for 7 weeks, and simultaneously they reached the top 100 of MPB (Brazilian Popular Music in 2015) ranked 62nd place, an outstanding achievement for instrumental category in Brazil
