Ruslan Moiseev

I am musical college graduate and have got both longtime studios practicing as a drummer, composer, arranger, and also onstage experience at professional level. I have authored 5 albums of songs and instrumentals in style of contemporary jazz, neo-classical, prog-electronic, contemporary jazz/fusion. Currently I am a bandleader for the award-winning fusion-band OMNIUM. it is a four-piece band (guitar, bass, electronic vibraphone and drums) that plays their own music in the style of improvisational instrumental contemporary jazz/fusion, which is a quite virtuoso and very well-crafted stuff. OMNIUM was created in 2005 and released its full debut album in the same year. The band plays locally and in different nightclubs and large venues around the country on a regular basis with a big success and ever-growing following. OMNIUM has given several invariably enjoyable and crowd-pleasing shows at International jazz-festivals within last year and has left audiences with double encore performances and became renown for their originality and quality. The main motivation and inspiration behind the band's performances are to play the passionate music that lifts people's spirit and touches human soul.

”...Led by drummer Ruslan Moiseev, Omnium Band specializes in fusion style Jazz, but what makes them unique is the way they get into a groove jam band-style, the prog-rock touches on the fringes, and the prominent use of the MalletKat. As played by Vladimir Goloukhov, the MalletKat—an electric vibraphone—is used to give the music its character and melody. The MalletKat’s interplay with the guitar—as played by Oleg Schegolev—is particularly noteworthy and stunningly displayed on “Cherry Season” and “Mambo”... ”...Omnium Band is a Jazz band with a rock and roll heart and can proudly rest next to other great rock bands that use Jazz as one of many jumping off points: King Crimson, Brand X, Critter’s Buggin’, Gong, and Tuatara
