Soul Confluence

Soul Confluence is a powerhouse Soul/R&B band based in Denver, CO. You might wonder what a band from Colorado knows about soul music, but the band’s leader, Steve Holley, is a tried and true Memphis musician, having performed, recorded, and toured with a multitude of Memphis artists. Soul Confluence is the premier band at SoundHouse-Denver and was recognized at by DownBeat Magazine as the best high school R&B band in the country in 2016!

What is SoundHouse, you might ask? For over a decade, the bands of Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse have been turning heads with professional bands made up of unlikely members - young musicians aged 14-18! From funk to fusion and soul to swing, Soundhouse bands have played some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including recent performances in Sweden, France, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Italy, and Mexico. Their national presence is equally as impressive with performances in most every major city in the US, including New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Washington DC, San Diego, Chicago, Miami, Memphis, New Orleans, and San Francisco.

Between Steve and Caleb they have over 55 Downbeat awards between them, recognizing them both as two of the best commercial music educators today! Soul Confluence will absolutely blow you away with their blend of R&B, soul, hip hop, and neo-soul. Don’t be fooled by their age - this a band of musicians who can set any dance floor on fire!
