Steve Blanco

Steve Blanco is a critically acclaimed musician - piano | synths | rhodes | synths - composer, filmmaker, teacher, and truth seeker. In addition to the acoustic piano, Blanco has introduced analog synths, electronic instruments, and effects into his work.

Blanco played music from a young age; The trumpet, guitar, and drums. He began to teach himself piano at 23 then went to Purchase music conservatory in NY and abroad at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He holds a B.F.A. from SUNY Purchase in music performance and resides in New York City.

Blanco’s creative works consist of: two critically acclaimed trio records for Art Of Life Records with Sunny Jain & Adam Roberts, a piano/guitar duo recording, some vocal albums with various singers, an experimental live album with his electronic band El Chico Blanco, and a host of projects as a sideman.
