Sukyung Kim
Sukyung Kim is a pianist and composer from Korea, now based in Brooklyn, NY. She began studying classical piano at the age of 4. She continued her studies in classical piano and composition at SUNY Binghamton. After learning an extensive repertoire, she moved to New York City to be involved in the NYC jazz scene. She completed graduate studies in jazz performance at New York University, studying privately with Kevin Hays, Alan Broadbent, Drew Gress, and Ari Hoenig. Her self-produced EP album, “Lilac Hill”, has been released in May 2020.
