Jazz pianist/composer maestro Sunny Rattana graduated classical piano performance with first class honor from Chulalongkorn University. Started from self- taught then had proper lesson with Nu Vudthivichai. He received awards from Thailand Jazz Competition 1st, 2nd ,3rd – H.M. The King’s Trophy for the Jazz Band, Outstanding Musician Award and winner of the outstanding musician award at the Greeley Jazz Festival, USA.

Sunny teaches at Silpakorn University as a full time music instructor.

He has been performing in many jazz festival around bangkok and beyond such as

Sunny is the founder of Creative Music Studio and has released three jazz albums.

The merging of jazz and Asian folk idioms is gradually becoming more common, though most typically in Indonesia and South Korea.
