Théo Lanau

After graduating from famous French drum school Agostini and awarded with the First Prize in 2010, Lanau has continued to study in many prestigious European schools such as the Paris Conservatory (France), the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest (Hungary), and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Belgium), learning from great masters such as Emil Spanyi, Joe Quitzke, Daniel Humair, Louis Sclavis, Kristóf Bacsó, Akos Benkó, Stephane Galland, and Lionel Beuvens. He's also had the opportunity to work with many musicians and composers from around the world, including Manolo Cabras (Belgium), Grzegorz Marciniak (Poland), Tom Aldrich, and Kurt Rosenwinkel (USA).

He’s currently performing with various international projects in different musical universes (from free jazz to funk, modern jazz to electronic music) and is a member of French artistic collective Tricollectif as the drummer of french trio Bo Bun Fever (Thailando-Nigerian disco-funk). His main collaborations feature mostly French bands Roue Libre (free-rock) and Idiotone (electronic experimental music). Additionally, Lanau works for theater as well including "Elvis," a play by Sébastien Corbières, and "Le Cabinet du Dr. Cagliari'' for the Cinémathèque de Toulouse
