the roycrosse Quintet

I started playing the steel drum more than two decades ago with a large steel orchestra in Trinidad. After moving to the USA, I began working small ensembles combining the steel drum with conventional instruments. Playing gigs around the NY/NJ area festivals, and restaurants and private parties.

My CD "A Touch of Latin" was recorded in NY with: Larry Maltz on Guitar, Dave Rimelis on Violin, Mario Rodriguez on Bass and Norman Headman on percussion and yours truly on Soprano Steel Drum.

I also have a background in fine arts;sculpture and painting, and my work in represented in several museums, public and private collections internationally.

Currently: Perform in the Baltimore/DC area
