Tim Andrulonis

My name is Tim Andrulonis. I'm a saxophonist from Baltimore, MD. I am currently a jazz studies major at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia,PA. I hold a Bachelors in Jazz Studies from Shenandoah University in Winchester,VA, and I play lead alto in the jazz ensemble and also play in a combo. I play primarily jazz but perform regularly in gospel, r&b, and rock bands. I draw most of my musical inspiration from my family and their talents, but also draw inspiration from players like Kenny Garrett, Vincent Herring, Mark Gross, Antonio Hart, Phil Woods, Cannonball Adderley, Gary Bartz, and Charlie Parker. Throughout my struggle to grow as a musician I've had the opportunity to perform with Baltimore legend Ruby Glover, trumpeter Donald Byrd, and with the SU Jazz Ensemble Bob Mintzer, Jim Snidero, Marvin Stamm, Duffy Jackson, and John Fedchock. I play pretty regularly with a group of friends at Village Square restaurant and piano bar in Winchester, VA.
